1. Definitions in these Terms and Conditions (Terms)

  “Questions” or “Question Credit” or “Question Pack” means the number of Questions available in the package will be listed on our site, in accordance with the packages purchased.
  “Member” means an individual who is registered to use our site and use one of the Services other than Paid Services but who is not a Subscriber.
  “Paid Services” means services for which we make a charge.
  “Subscriber” means a member who is registered to use one or more Paid Services on our site. If you wish to contact us for any reason, please email info@1000GBP.com.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. We operate the website 1000GBP.com (our site). We are 1000GBP Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company registration number 14698626 of 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF.
2. These pages (together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms of Website Use and Website Acceptable Use Policy) give you information about us and the legal terms and conditions on which we provide any of the services (Services) listed on our site to you.
3. These Terms will apply to any contract between us for the supply of Services to you (Contract). By using our site, whether as a guest or a member, or a Subscriber, you are subject to the Terms and Conditions as laid out here and any applicable laws. Use of our site includes accessing, browsing or registering to use our site. By using our site, you confirm that you accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them and not to facilitate infringement of them. Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them, before subscribing to any Services from our site. If you refuse to accept these Terms, you will not be able to subscribe to any Services from our site and please refrain from using our site.

CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. We reserve the right to change these Terms with or without your notice at our own discretion. These Terms are applicable to your use of our site or the obtaining of Services from us, and any changes will be effective at the point at which they are visible on our site. Any use of our site or supply of Services by us after a change has occurred is subject to such new Terms. Please check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we have made, as they are binding on you.
USE OF OUR SITE
1. Your use of our site is governed by our Terms of website use, Website Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Please take the time to read these, as they include important terms which apply to you.
MEMBERSHIP OF 1000GBP.com AND WALLET
1. You can find relevant information regarding your specific subscription with 1000GBP Ltd by checking our site.
2. Membership criteria
  To have membership with 1000GBP Ltd:
  1. must be at least 18 years old;
  2. must live in the United Kingdom; and
  3. Agree to provide us with certain pieces of personal information (including name, date of birth, contact details and payment information). This information must be maintained by you so as to be up to date at all times. If your personal details change at any point, you must ensure that this is updated on our site as soon as possible.
  4. must nominate a a football club
  5. Agree to 1000GBP Wallet ("Account Wallet") intended for use with 1000GBP services only. Monies from your bank account can be transfered to Account Wallet ("Funds") and once successfully transfered, can be used to purchase any additional 1000GBP services. If these funds are used to buy any services such as (5), the cost of the service subscribed will be deducted from your Account Wallet. This can be viewed in Transaction History.
    1. Adding Funds - There is a minimum limit of £5 which can be added to your Account Balance or Wallet in order to subscribe for any 1000GBP services.
    2. Winnings -if you are a winner of any competition on 1000GBP, we may ask you to provide a proof of indentification (such as driving license or utility bill clearly stating your name and address or proof or age verification on your passport) to verify your details on the account and once the checks are done your winnings will be transfered to your Account Wallet. These are non transferable.
    3. Minimum Withdrawal Amount - You can only withdraw a minimum amount of £25 from their account. Any withdrawal requests below this amount will not be processed. Please ensure your account balance meets or exceeds this minimum requirement before initiating a withdrawal.
    4. Withdraw Funds - Funds available in your Account Wallet can be withdrawn to your bank account. In order to request a withdrawal, the name on 1000GBP account details MUST match the details of your bank account. We may ask you to provide us with certain pieces of personal information (proof of identification such as Driver's License or Passportincluding name, date of birth, contact details and payment information). This information must be maintained by you so as to be up to date at all times. If your personal details change at any point, you must ensure that this is updated on our site as soon as possible. The minimum amount you can withdraw is £25.
    5. Transaction History - This will show your statement of funds added \ withdrawn or used on any services on 1000GBP.com
3. Refusal of application or purchase
  We retain the right to refuse any application to use our site or for Services for any reason.
4. Becoming a Member
  On the basis that you fulfil all the criteria stated in section 5.2, you may register as a user of our site as either a Member or Subscriber. To become a Member, you must access the relevant section of our site and provide an email address and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your own account.
5. 1000GBP’s Services
  Paid Services include:
  1. The Playoff Package with 7 Questions;
  2. The Promotion Package with 18 Questions; and
  3. The Champion Package with 34 Questions.
6. Other terms and conditions and rules
  Single Account Policy: Users are permitted to hold only one account on 1000GBP.com . Multiple accounts for a single user are strictly prohibited. Should it come to our attention that a user has multiple accounts, we reserve the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to denying withdrawal requests, suspending or terminating accounts, and forfeiting any winnings associated with the violating account(s).
  
  In cases where we suspect a user may have multiple accounts, we reserve the right to request verification of each account. Verification may include providing proof of identification (such as a government-issued ID or passport) and bank details associated with the account(s) in question.
  
  If, upon review, we determine that a user has violated our single account policy, we reserve the right to deny withdrawal requests associated with any or all of the user's accounts. This decision is at the sole discretion of 1000GBP.com and may be made without prior notice to the user.Furthermore, in cases where a user is found to have violated our single account policy and is a winner, we reserve the right to forfeit any winnings associated with the violating account(s). This decision is at the sole discretion of 1000GBP.com and may be made without prior notice to the user.
  
  Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login credentials and must not share their account information with any third party. Users are also required to promptly notify 1000GBP.com of any unauthorized use or suspected breach of their account.
  
  If the club you wish to select is not available in the list of options, you have the choice to mark the 'Assign me a club at random' option. By selecting this option, a Club will be assigned at random to your account.
  
  If a player chooses to assign a Club at random as their preferred club while participating in a competition, it's important to note that club changes cannot be made during an ongoing competition. Players must wait until the competition concludes before making any changes to their nominated club.
  
  Players who have selected assign a Club at random during a competition will be automatically entered into the weekly draw as their preferred choice. Any winnings accrued during this period will be attributed to the club nominated.
  
  It is crucial to acknowledge that 1000GBP Ltd reserves the right to manage Temporary Club winnings. In specific circumstances, the Wallet balance may be transferred to a club selected by 1000GBP Ltd.
  
  Upon registration, it is mandatory for participants to select a football club to be eligible to play. If your preferred club is not listed in our database, you may choose the 'Assign me a club at random' option. In the event that you do not have a preferred club, 1000GBP Ltd reserves the right to assign a random football club from the list at its discretion, without further notice.
  
  Any additional terms, conditions or similar statements on our site relating to our Services are deemed to be a part of these Terms.
  
  By using 1000GBP.com , users agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined herein, including the single account policy and withdrawal procedures. Failure to comply may result in account suspension or termination, and forfeiture of any associated funds or winnings.
  
  These account policies and procedures are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Users are encouraged to review the Terms & Conditions periodically for updates or amendments
7. Upon registration, it is mandatory for participants to select a non-league football club to be eligible to play. If your preferred club is not listed in our database, you may choose the 'Temporary Club' option. Following this selection, a representative from 1000GBP Ltd will contact you to assist in adding your preferred club to our system. In the event that you do not have a preferred club, 1000GBP Ltd reserves the right to assign a non-league football club at its discretion, without further notice.
PAID SERVICES INFORMATION
1. Payment
  You agree that we will charge you a fee to be paid at the time you add funds to your account. Details of the fees can be found on our site in your wallet.
2. Changing Prices
  We retain the right to change the price associated with any of the Paid Services.
  Details of our pricing scheme and charges can be found in the “My Account section under My Question Balance - Buy Questions” of our site.
3. Upgrading/Downgrading Service
  We intend in the future to introduce a function enabling You to upgrade or downgrade your Paid Services at any point. Once this function is active, upgrading and downgrading will be measured by the costs associated with the Paid Services. Any increase in billing will take effect immediately and you will be charged accordingly at the time of purchasing the upgraded Paid Services. Any additional charges will be non-refundable.
THE COMPETITION
1. All competitions hosted on the Promoter's website are classified as skill-based competitions. Each participation in these competitions necessitates the payment of an entry fee.
2. In order to stand a chance of winning, every individual participating in the competition, referred to as an "Player," must accurately respond to a question or successfully solve a problem presented by the Promoter. This is termed the "Competition Question." Players must complete this task within a designated time period, which they have the option to select based on their chosen difficulty level.
3. Points are allotted to Entrants for each correct response to a Competition Question. However, no points will be assigned for incorrect answers or for questions that remain unanswered.
4. The accumulated points represent an Players's performance during the competition. It is essential to note that all accumulated points will be reset to zero once the competition concludes.
5. Points accrued by Players throughout the competition will be transformed into entries for the prize draw. The process of selecting winners at random is facilitated by an independent system, specifically Randompicker.com.
HOW TO ENTER
1. The competition will be conducted during the time frame specified on the Website, inclusive of the "Opening Date" and "Closing Date" as indicated. Please note that all references to time and dates are in accordance with the time zone of England.
2. The competition will run from the Opening Date to the Closing Date, as stipulated on the Website. The Promoter reserves the right to modify these dates if absolutely necessary. In such an event, the updated details will be promptly made available on the Website.
3. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the specified time on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the specified time on the Closing Date are automatically entered into next competition and no refunds will be given.
4. To be eligible for entry into the competition, Entrants must possess at least 1 point by the conclusion of the competition.
5. The Website will specify the maximum number of entries allowed for the competition. If this maximum entry limit is reached, the number of entries that Entrants can make might be restricted.
6. To participate in the competition, follow these steps:
  1. Visit the Website.
  2. Register on the website.
    1. Subsequently, you may purchase a package to add more questions to your account should you wish to continue playing.
  3. Select a category of your preference and the corresponding difficulty level, which will display points and the time allowed for answering the question.
    1. Click on "Reveal my question."
  4. A question will be presented, accompanied by a timer set to the duration you selected based on the difficulty level.
    1. Promptly select an answer to the question before the timer expires.
      1. If the answer is correct, 1 question credit will be deducted, and points will be awarded based on the selected difficulty level. To qualify for the draw, you need to have 1 or more points.
      2. If you answer the question incorrectly, 1 question credit will be deducted, and no points will be awarded. OR If the question goes unanswered within the given time (unanswered question), 1 question credit will be deducted, and no points will be awarded.
  5. Correct answers, depending on the selected difficulty level, will earn you points. These points accumulate during the competition's duration.
7. The Promoter will send a confirmation specifying the points accrued during the competition. Please note that accumulated points are solely applicable to the specific competition for which they were earned. Verify the Opening Date and Closing Date to ascertain the competition's validity.
8. The Promoter cannot assume responsibility for any competition entries that remain incomplete, are lost, or experience delays for any reason. This includes situations arising from equipment failure, technical glitches, system malfunctions, satellite issues, network problems, server errors, computer hardware or software failures, or any other forms of malfunction. This also encompasses instances where the question or timer is not displayed due to internet browser problems. Credits that are deducted under these circumstances will not be reimbursed.
9. By entering into the competition, you enter into a contract with the Promoter and agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
CHOOSING A WINNER
1. Once all Entrants who correctly answer the Competition Question have accumulated points, these points will be converted into entries. These entries will then be entered into a draw, and winners will be selected at random using an independent system to conduct the draw.
2. The draw is scheduled to occur on the next working day or as soon as reasonably possible, but in all cases, it will take place within 48 hours of the Closing Date, referred to as the "Draw Date."
3. The total number of winners may vary depending on the number of Entrants. However, there will be a maximum of 50 winners chosen by the independent system.
ELIGIBILITY
1. The competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and residents in the Republic of Ireland, who are 18 years or older. However, the following individuals are not eligible to participate:
  1. Employees of the Promoter.
  2. Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration.
  3. Members of the immediate families or households of the categories mentioned in (1) and (2) above.
2. By entering the competition, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria and are eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may request proof of your eligibility to enter and win the competition. If you fail to provide such proof or other required information within a reasonable time, you may be disqualified from the competition.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant whose conduct goes against the spirit or intention of the prize competition.
  
  In the event that any user is found to be exploiting system errors, discrepancies, or engaging in any form of unauthorized participation—including but not limited to accessing question packages without appropriate payment—we reserve the exclusive right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate the service provided to such user without prior notice. This measure is in place to maintain the integrity of the game and ensure fair play among all participants. Any decision made by us in this regard shall be final and not subject to dispute.
4. No refunds of the entry fee will be provided under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
  1. If, after entering the competition, you discover that you are ineligible to participate or claim the prize.
  2. If the eligibility criteria for entering or claiming the prize change after your entry, making you ineligible.
  3. If you are disqualified from the competition by the Promoter for any reason.
5. Entrants can participate in the competition as many times as they wish, subject to any maximum entry limits that may apply. Free questions are limited to 1 per user/account.
THE PRIZE
1. The details of the competition prize (the "Prize") are provided on the Website and are, to the best of the Promoter's knowledge, information, and belief, accurate as of the Opening Date.
2. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter retains the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. In the event of any changes to the Prize details, the Promoter will make every effort to update the Website as soon as reasonably possible.
3. The Promoter does not provide representations or warranties regarding the Prize, its value, condition, or any other information displayed on the Website. Furthermore, the Promoter does not guarantee that the information on the Website is accurate, complete, or up to date.
4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative cash prize ("Cash Prize") under the following circumstances:
  1. The original Prize becomes unavailable.
  2. Other circumstances arise beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter that necessitate the substitution.
5. The Prize is neither negotiable nor transferable.
6. All prices are split equally between the players and their nominated clubs, unless it stats otherwise in the Prizes section of the competition.
WINNERS
1. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
2. The Promoter will personally contact the winner as soon as reasonably practicable after the Draw Date, using the telephone number or email address provided during the competition entry. The winning amount will be transferred to the winner's 1000GBP account wallet only after the compliance checks, as outlined in section 5.5.2. If the winner cannot be reached, is unavailable, or has not claimed the Prize within 7 days of the Draw Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries received before the Closing Date.
3. The Promoter is obligated to publish or make available information that demonstrates a valid award took place. To fulfill this obligation, the Promoter will publish the names and cities of prize winners on their Social Media accounts and website.
4. If you have objections to your name, city, or winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at info@1000GBP.com before the Closing Date. In such cases, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority upon request.
LEADERBOARD
1. We utilize the Leaderboard to display all active participants who have accrued 1 or more points.
2. It's important to note that your presence on the Leaderboard signifies your eligibility for the weekly prize draw. However, it doesn't indicate that you have already won a prize.
3. The Leaderboard showcases each player's first initial and last name, their city, and their chosen club, along with the points they've accumulated.
4. This information is also accessible to the club you have nominated.
5. In situations where a tie occurs, meaning two or more players have correctly answered a question in the same amount of time, we will determine their leaderboard position based on the date and time of their respective answers. The player who answered the question first during that week will hold a higher rank.
6. At the conclusion of the competition, the points you've collected will be converted into entries. Each point you've earned translates into one entry in the draw. You can secure multiple entries in the draw if you've accumulated more points.
CLAIMING THE PRIZE
1. The prize amount will exclusively be transferred to the winner's 1000GBP account wallet. The Prize cannot be transferred to a third-party account on your behalf. Details regarding how the Prize will be delivered to you or made available for collection are provided on the Website.
2. In case your personal details, including contact information, change at any time, please inform the Promoter as soon as reasonably possible. Notifications should be sent via email to info@1000GBP.com. Ensure that your notifications contain the competition details you've entered, your old details, and your new details. If your details change within 10 days of the Closing Date, the Promoter will use your old details if it needs to attempt contact. To facilitate the transfer of your winnings, the name on your 1000GBP account details MUST match the details of your bank account. Additional checks may be requested as outlined in section 5.5.2.
3. Any Cash Prize will be directly transferred to the winner's 1000GBP account wallet. To withdraw the money to your bank account, you must provide evidence that you are the sole or joint beneficiary of the bank account. Failure to do so within 14 days will result in disqualification from the competition and forfeiture of the prize. In such circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries received before the Closing Date.
4. The Promoter does not accept responsibility and is not liable for compensation in the event you are unable to claim the prize.
5. All prizes will be transferred to the winner's account wallet within one week of the prize draw date and the winner being announced.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
1. In so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
1. By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition or as otherwise set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available on the Website.
2. If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition. You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
3. If you do not wish to participate in any publicity, you must notify the Promoter prior to the Closing Date. This will not affect your chances of winning the Prize. If you do not agree to participate in any publicity about the competition, we may still provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority. This is a legal requirement that we must comply with to prove that the competition has been properly administered and the Prize awarded.
4. If you are the winner of the competition, you may be required to provide further personal information and proof of your identity in order to confirm your eligibility to claim the Prize and transfer ownership of the Prize to you. You consent to the use of your information in this way. You are entitled to request further details about how your personal information is being used. You may also withdraw your consent to your personal information being used in such way but by doing so you may prevent the Prize being transferred to you. In such circumstances, you will be deemed to have withdrawn from the competition and forfeit the Prize. You will not be entitled to any refund of your entry fee. The Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
5. Please note that under data protection laws you are entitled to request that the Promoter does not contact you and removes your details from its database. If you make such a request you will be withdrawing from the competition as it will not be possible to contact you in the event that you are the winner. You will not be entitled to any refund of any entry fee if you withdraw from the competition. If you do not wish any of your personal details to be used by the Promoter for promotional purposes, please email the Promoter at info@1000gbp.com prior to the Closing Data.
Affiliated Clubs
1. Affiliation Requirement: Only affiliated clubs are eligible to withdraw winnings or donations. To register, please complete the online form. 1000GBP reserves the right to accept or decline affiliation applications.
2. Winnings Distribution: All winnings are split between the player and the affiliated club as stated in the competition terms.
3. Donation Percentage: For every package purchased, a percentage of the purchase amount is credited to the club’s wallet.
4. Claim Period: Winnings or donations must be claimed within 90 days from the date they appear in the club's transaction history. After 90 days, any unclaimed funds will be designated as "unclaimed" and may be deducted from the club’s wallet balance.
5. Withdrawal Limitations:
  1. Minimum and Frequency: Clubs may withdraw funds from their wallet once every 30 days, with a minimum withdrawal amount of £25. Balances below this threshold must accumulate until the minimum amount is reached.
  2. Registered Bank Account: Withdrawals will only be processed to the club's registered bank account. 1000GBP reserves the right to request proof of ownership if there are concerns about the account's validity, which may cause delays in processing.
  3. Processing Time: After a withdrawal request has been submitted, clubs should allow up to 10 working days for the funds to clear in their account.
  4. Responsibility to Withdraw: It is the club’s responsibility to review and withdraw balances within the claim period to avoid forfeiture of funds.
  5. Fair Play Requirement: If 1000GBP determines that a player has engaged in cheating to secure a prize, we reserve the right to withhold payment to the club for those winnings.
GENERAL
1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. The latest version of these terms and conditions will be available on the Website.
2. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition and any future competitions.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
4. The competitions on the Website are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. By entering the competitions, Entrants agree that Facebook has no liability and is not responsible for the administration or promotion of the competitions.
5. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
