Codicote FC fan, and 1000GBP.com player, J Bundy recently won one of our competitions to win Premier League tickets. He was treated to an evening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday 14th May 2024 where he saw Tottenham Hotspur take on Manchester City.
The fixture was a pivotal one as the Premier League season draws to a close. Manchester City went into the game knowing that a win would see them go top of the Premier League with just 1 game remaining, gaining one hand on the trophy, whilst Spurs knew that if they did not win, they would miss out on qualification for next season's Champions League. City had traditionally had a poor run at this ground - failing to score or win in 4 previous visits.
Ultimately, it was City who prevailed on this occassion, with a double from Golden Boot holder Erling Haaland, including a penalty in added time of second half. This followed a great chance for Son Heung Min to snatch an equaliser late on but the Spurs captain's attempt was foiled by Stefan Ortega.
J Bundy was lucky enough to be in attendance at the game and had a fantastic time. After playing The Ultimate Football Quiz, and scoring a large number of points, he emerged victorious from the competition. He won a pair of tickets in the executive section of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. J Bundy's day out included executive padded seats, pre-match meal, a and a matchday programme - cementing a wonderful and very special evening out for him.
